Finding an Internship

Finding the internship can be a time-consuming and daunting process.  For some, previous connections and involvement in student organizations or other social networks lead to opportunities, but more often than not, it’s WORK!  It’s not just a matter of surfing the Internet and sending out resumes–you’ve got to pound the pavement, on and off campus. We can help.  Follow the links below to get you started.

Intern in Michigan is one part job board, one part online dating service. Start by posting your résumé and filling out a survey to assess your specific career interests (including factors such as desired work environment). Employers fill out a similar survey to match them with an internship candidate—like you!

Internships.com is the world’s largest internship marketplace and allows students to search for internships based on geographic location and major.  Students be sure to select school location (Michigan) and then Michigan State University from the drop-down menu when you register with Internships.com to review internship postings specifically for MSU students
